Temple de la Sagrada Familia
125 years ago a group of enthusiastic, enterprising people, headed by the Barcelona bookseller and publisher Josep Maria Bocabella, laid the first stone of a church of atonement which they hoped would be built in just a few years. Little did they think that when Antoni Gaudí was put in charge of the project, things would take a different turn. As the years have gone by, the church of the Sagrada Família, a symbol of peace, fraternity and universal justice, has become a world landmark, valued everywhere and visited by millions of people. Today we are working to protect, study and disseminate a unique building and to complete the project he bequeathed to us.
