Gran Teatre del Liceu
Opened in 1847, the Gran Teatre del Liceu has been Spain’s leading opera house for over 150 years. Destroyed by a fi re in 1994 and reopened in 1999, the Liceu is today one of Barcelona’s major landmarks and a cultural asset of fundamental importance to the city.
