Museum Van Loon - Free entrance

Along Keizersgracht at the very centre of Amsterdam stands the residence of the Van Loon family of regents. Willem van Loon was one of the founders of the VOC, the Dutch East India Company, in 1602.  In 1973 the family opened its house to the public. Behind the stately facade you can now explore one of Amsterdam’s hidden treasures.
