Take a breather in Stockholm!
Stockholm, Sweden's glorious capital, is widely celebrated as one of the world's most beautiful cities. Stockholm is built where lake meets sea, on fourteen islands with nine centuries of history and culture. It is a city of great contrasts: a cutting-edge contemporary metropolis that retains its charm, rich history and world class attractions. Uniquely, Stockholm lives on nature's terms, surrounded and permeated by vast green areas. That must be why Stockholm has been chosen to be Europe's first Green Capital, in 2010!
So why not have a regal experience in Stockholm? In June next year the Swedish crown princess will get married! The Royal Palace, the Drottningholm Palace and the Royal Djurgården with the Vasamuseum, Skansen or Prince Eugene's Waldemarsudde are just some of the Royal attractions available with the Stockholm Card.
The Stockholm Card also offers free admission to 75 museums and attractions and free travel by public transport in all of Stockholm! The card also includes free transportation on selected sightseeing trips by boat and free trips with city ferries.
How many places let you experience the pleasures of nature, urban sophistication and cultural history, all in a single day?
Welcome to Stockholm – The Capital of Scandinavia.
