Nuremberg’s Fantasitc City Card

NurembergThe Nuremberg Card doesn’t just offer a great deal for sightseers in Bavaria’s second largest destination, but also in nearby Fuerth, Erlangen and Schwabach; that’s four great cities for the price of one! With the card, tourists can use all forms of public transport, and visit all major sights and destinations, opening doors to unforgettable experiences. And that’s not all; the Nuremberg Card also comes with special offers from many shops and theatres, as well as sightseeing tours! All this for just nineteen Euros, with no charge for children under twelve. Purchasing this wonderful card is as easy as could be: buy it on the Internet, in tourist information centres and at hotel receptions all over the city.

It’s an unbeatable offer!

But don’t take our word for it: we asked tourists who visited Nuremberg to rate our card, and were delighted to learn that they were overwhelmingly impressed by the value and flexibility it offers. And good news for our partners around Europe: a full two thirds of City Card users in Nuremberg had already enjoyed City Cards elsewhere, and knew exactly how to use them to their full potential.

In Torino, the exotic East is closer than you think!

TurinTorino is one of Italy’s most beautiful cities, but that’s not all; it’s also home to one of Europe’s finest collections of Egyptian antiquities, housed in the Academy of Science which, as a splendid example of Baroque architecture, is worth visiting in itself.

Starting in February, visitors to Torino can also marvel at two important exhibitions featuring artefacts from Ancient Egypt that invite the viewer to experience the magic of the East. Housed in the striking Royal Residence of Venaria Reale, the international tour of Sunken Treasures of Egypt (Tesori Sommersi d’Egitto) features statues, jewellery, gold coins, ceramics and sphinxes discovered by the underwater archaeologist Franck Goddio. Exhibits are brought to life by the exceptional backdrops created by Robert Wilson. The exhibition runs until May 31st. In Palazzo Bricherasio, a major exhibition about Akhenaten, Pharaoh of the Sun (Akhenaton Faraone del Sole), explores Egypt between the reigns of Amehotep III and Ramesses II, focusing on the figure of Akhenaten, the pharaoh who established the cult of Aten, the sun transformed into a fully divine entity.

And that’s not all! The recently opened Museum of Asian Art (Museo di Arte Orientale) displays 1500 items from all over Asia, from India to Japan and from Afghanistan to Tibet.

Visitors to Torino can visit all these amazing exhibitions - and more! - for free with their Torino+Piemonte Card, as well as enjoying our special offer for spending a weekend in and & around Torino: fifty suggestions for your stay at prices from €64 per person - a great deal that includes a City Card!
