TurkuCard - An Ace in your Hand!
Turku, Finland's oldest city, has been a meeting-place for centuries; people have long flocked to Turku to engage in both commerce and fun. And in 2011, Turku will welcome guests as the European Capital of Culture!
Turku is a wonderful destination all year round, with activities for every season. This winter, Turku is perhaps at its most beautiful. The city is under a mantle of snow, and the trees shimmer with a frosting of ice. All you need are comfortable, warm clothes; the rest is up to you. Why not rent a pair of skates and try ice skating in one of the skating rinks? And, if you are in luck, you might even be able to take a stroll along a walking path on the frozen surface of the river Aura. You can't miss enjoying at least some of our many museums, cafés and fabulous restaurants. And after that-how about spending a relaxing day in one of our spas?
To plan your stay, the best source of information for events, happenings and places to go is the address www.turkutouring.com
In the winter, and in all other seasons, the Turku Card is the visitor's best friend. It offers many substantial benefits, as well as free entry to a lot of sights. For example, the Turku Card offers free entry to most museums as well as free travel on local buses. Also, many restaurants have special perks for bearers of the card, while discounts are available in a range of shops. TurkuCard will provide contactless smartcard technology before the summer season 2010.
Enjoy Turku in winter and all year round!

Stockholm - Love is in the Air!
Stockholm is one of the most beautiful capitals in the world, and you can explore it and fall in love with the culture on offer with the fantastic Stockholm Card. Stockholm, which is spread across fourteen islands, offers history, beautiful green spaces, and an amazing seascape.
Love is in the air more than ever in 2010 as Stockholm gears up for the royal wedding of Crown Princess Victoria to Mr. Daniel Westling on June 19. A city festival, LOVE 2010, will take place June 6-19 with a veritable explosion of cultural and music events. With your Stockholm Card in hand, you'll enjoy free admission to the Royal Palaces and the wedding church, Storkyrkan. And why not take a trip to the Royal Residence at Drottningholm, which is listed on the UNESCO World Heritage List?
Stockholm is strikingly green, and boasts beautiful clean waters, but it's not all about appearances. Thanks to Stockholm's focus on environmental issues, it became first European Green Capital in 2010. The Stockholm Card proudly offers you the opportunity to enjoy free environmentally-friendly sightseeing by bicycle as well as, during the summer, free sightseeing trips by boat and city ferries.
Vertigo and sweaty palms can also be a natural reaction to Stockholm! Why? A new attraction-free with the Stockholm Card in 2010 - is SkyView, a breathtaking journey in glass gondolas to the top of the Ericsson Globe, the world's largest spherical building, opening in February. Another exciting addition to the Stockholm Card, opening in May, is Fotografiska, a new museum of world-class photography.
But, of course, that's not all. The Stockholm Card offers free admission to eighty museums and attractions and free travel by public transport across the city!
Welcome to Stockholm - The Capital of Scandinavia.
