City cards offer great value and convenience. They are fast becoming the modern way to see the best that a city has to offer. Most city cards provide visitors with free public transport, free entrances and discounts for everything that they need. As well as saving money, visitors can often jump the queues!

2. What is European Cities Marketing?
European Cities Marketing is the leading professional tourism network promoting and linking the interests of tourism within European cities. The network connects 134 major cities from 32 countries. It aims to strengthen city tourism by sharing knowledge and expertise.
3. How can I navigate the site?
Site visitors can view the information on city cards by country or by city via buttons that are on the left side and at the bottom of the page. Information is provided on the type of card each country and city has to offer, as well as a list of attractions and special offers that make up each city card package. You will also see whether transport can be added to complete your travel needs.
4. How can I purchase a City Card?
You can purchase a city card by selecting the country or city of your choice. Simply click on the product you are interested in and follow the steps. If the card is available online, you will be offered a link to their online sales platform.
5. How can I collect my order or have it delivered to me?
Each participating city provides a method by which you can receive your city cards after making a purchase on its website.
There are two methods available:
- Collection in the destination city by using a voucher which is issued at the point of purchase.
- Delivery to your home or address of your choice.
Some city cards only offer the option of collection OR delivery.
If you choose to collect your purchase, you will be issued a voucher that will have a unique reference number. Remember to print this voucher, as it will show confirmation of your purchase, as well as information about where to collect your purchase. You will also receive an e-mail confirming that your order has been placed.
Collection of your purchase will quite often be at the City Information Centre located in the centre of the city. Upon presentation of your voucher, you will receive your purchase. We recommend that you have your identity with you in the form of a Passport or Driver’s License to authenticate that you are the rightful owner of the voucher.
If you choose to have your purchase delivered, make sure that you have supplied the correct delivery address and that you have allowed enough time for the City Card vendor to get the package to you before your departure date.
6. What is a start date?
The start date refers to the date when you would first like to begin using your city card. Some city cards are date stamped upon issue, while some are supplied with a separate travelcard that will need to be date stamped before it is issued.
To avoid disappointment, it is important that the date you supply is correct if you are asked for one when purchasing online.
7. How long can I use my City Card?
Each city card has various types to choose from. Each city offers a one day or 24 hour card; however, the card range in some cities goes up to 6 days.
City cards are either date stamped or contain an intelligent chip within the card. If the city card is date stamped, it must be used on those dates. If the city card has an intelligent chip, it is programmed to be activated the first time you use it. It will then be active for daytime use on the day or consecutive days shown on the card.
Some cards can be used for up to a year from the purchase date. Please refer to each individual city to determine what type of card the city offers.
8. How can I cancel my order?
Please ensure that you check for conditions within each individual city card vending web site. European Cities Marketing cannot offer refunds on any cards purchased through web sites that are affilliated with this site.
